Once upon a time, there was a young couple that was madly in love with each other. The young lads name was Echo son of Dayor, his ladies name was Hayden. They had spent many years together living in a northern realm named Lightsnow. They had never spent a long time away from each other, that was the thing they feared most. They loved each other deeply and it is said to be that no love could compare to the love that they shared.
In the day that the world was at its darkest, Echo was called out to the Western ends of the Earth by His Lord known as the "I Am" into a land called Edion. This place was a great place full of wonder and happiness. But the only problem was that Hayden was not ready to leave, she had to stay in Lightsnow to carry on her education and duties as the most high princess of Lightsnow. Echo was very dejected that he had to leave his love behind, as was Hayden. He promised her that they would always have each other that he would write every day and send it back to her throw the wind. Echo had great faith in believing that his letters would float softly in the sky all the way back to Hayden every time he sent one on its way.
The day that Echo had to leave came, he spoke to Echo in a soft small voice alone, "Hayden I love you very much, I will never leave you or forsake you, so don't leave me. I will always be here for you even with the distance that I must go. Love is stronger then the distance we shall be from each other. I love you Hayden. goodbye." Echo left in tears riding his horse off into the hills of Lightsnow. Hayden crying, felt a warmth in her heart she had never felt before, like the something was comforting her. She cried as she saw him riding away into the distance until she could see him no more.
Echo carried only his sword, warm clothes, food, and water. Every night for shelter he built a bed of pine tree branches with branches as the roof, He used his saddle as a blanket and made fire to keep the Horse and him warm. Every realm he was in was covered in snow, it was just like back home, He had never been anywhere that wasn't covered in snow. It was a long and lonely journey across Arkania, Bithwania, and Glortifin until finally he arrived at Edion.
When he crossed the border between Glortifin and Edion everything changed. The sky had cleansed of snow and rain and the sun broke through like a wrecking ball into a wall. He experienced the life of plants and animals flying, running, and squirming all around Edion enjoying the sunshine. Echo settled down and with a day or two of work had made his own log shack for Him and his horse.
It was then time that Echo wrote his first letter to Hayden it read this:
Hayden I miss you so much, even the horse is missing you because I have been spending all my time telling him all the amazing things about you. How is everything in Lightsnow? I wish you could see it here in Edion it is amazing it reminds me of your smile. I hope you are well I love you very much. I hope for marriage when I come back, so I hope you will receive me as your husband. I hope this letter gets to you I am praying that I AM will protect it on its journey to you. I love you and I am praying often listening to what I need to do next. I love you!
Love From Your Echo
Echo gently folded the letter in perfect angles and threw it in the air where it flew softly in the sky above the tree line. "God-speed my friend." He said to the letter.
Many days later Hayden was at home trying to still deal with her love being gone. She sat outside watching the pattern of the snow fall, seeing snow flakes falling on her nose and gently melting. When she saw a larger snow flake falling from the sky, and it landed in her lap, a snow flake covered letter had landed in her lap. She began to leap with ecstatic emotion laughing and screaming with excitement. She opened the letter and read it, tears of joy running down her cheeks. She was so happy it made it. She then looked to her left and saw a snow shaped figure in the air pointing at her, she looked at it and pondered. She noticed that it was pointing behind her to her door, she then realized it was telling her to get inside. She walked into her house and turned and locked the door. She looked out the window and then realized that their were dark figures like dogs walking around her house. She took a closer look an noticed that a whole pack of wolves were surrounding her house.
She sat in the house for hours and then days just holding her letter sitting by the fire. Looking outside she still saw the wolves waiting for her to come out. She then realized that she had little food left and had been in the house for three days. She had little strength left and took the letter and wrote on the bottom of it:
Echo I need help I am trapped in my house, wolves have over taken the land around me and I am running out of food and water. I can't wait in my home much longer. I need you! No one will be coming to my house for months. I need you back in Lightsnow! Please Echo Please!
She wrote the letter and opened the window and quickly threw the letter in the air praying as she did and shut the window as fast as she could.
Echo was in Edion meditating and speaking with the I AM. It was just in the morning and Echo felt released from the land. He had learned many things while he was there, but still to this day no one but Echo knows what he had experienced and learned there. He sat and pondered on the life around him, he looked up and saw a blow of leaves in the wind and it formed a figure. It seemed to be a being pointing straight up in the air; Echo looked up and was shocked to see the same letter he wrote floating back into his hands. He opened it and read the note and a sound like thunder came from the sky saying "Go" so he jumped on his stead and galloped into Glortifin and then into Bithwania and finally into Arkania where Echo was stopped by something.
Echo had been riding for two days straight he was exhausted. He looked in front of him in the distance; a bear had stood in the way that he had to go through. He looked at the bear and glared at it. The bear looked at him back, and with a grunt the bear began to sprint right at Echo and his horse. Echo kicked his horse and galloped right at the bear. Only twenty feet away from the bear Echo drew his sword and soon enough the bear was upon him. The bear hit the horse with such an impact it killed His horse instantly. Echo was thrown over the horse but had pierced the bear in the shoulder all the way through. Echo rolled on the ground still holding his sword. The bear more weak but still much alive took another sprint at Echo, Echo began to scream at the top of his lungs "I AM!!" His sword began to glow with fire and the bear leaped upon Him, Echo falling perfectly aimed his sword into the heart of the bear. Echo had killed the bear, but his horse had fallen dead.
Arkania was only a 12 hour journey to get to Lightsnow on horseback, so Echo figured if He ran the whole time He would make it faster. Echo left behind his warmer clothes so he could be lighter when running. He ran for hours and hours, resting when he needed to for about five minutes. It was a very long journey in such rugged, snow filled terrain.
Hayden was in her house very weak and hungry for food and water, she had already began to get very dissy and had become very weak from not eating or drinking much for at least 3 days. She looked outside seeing the hungry wolves passing back and forth starring her through the window. She stood there and she began to fade away, but in the distance she saw a dark figure walking up to the house holding a sword. She then blacked out from lack of energy.
It was Echo walking up to the house holding his sword ready to do anything to see his Hayden. Walking up to the house He spoke to the wolves, "You will go away now, or I will kill everyone of you, because nothing will keep me from my Hayden!!!" The wolves turned and sprung up their shoulders. "Fine. HAVE IT YOUR WAY!!!" He sprinted at the pack of wolves there was at least eight of them. The first to attack him He chapped into its spine, the next came and He stabbed it in the shoulder, wounded and in pain it ran off. Then there were six left two attacked at once this time, Echo ducking as a wolf jumped for his head, chopped the legs off the wold in front of him and with swift movement stabbed behind him already knowing where the other wolf had jumped. There were only two left, but they were the largest of them all. Only one attacked him this time, the wolf lunged at him and Echo swung in the wrong place, and the wolf jumped up and bit into the flesh of his arm. Echo screaming from pain from the bite and just the shear cold all around his body, then punched the wolf in the mouth, but the wolf hung on. Echo then thinking very quickly grabbed the large wolf's tale and cut it off. The Wolf quickly let go and which gave Echo a chance to pierce the area where the wolfs lungs are and killed it. Echo looked at the last wolf and said "COME ON!!" Echo then looked at his arm and realized he was bleeding out a good amount of blood and it was making him weak. So he acted quickly and ran at the wolf, the wolf sprang to his left and Echo stabbed the wolf in the side with ease. The wolf fell to the ground and let out a groan. Not realizing the wolf was not dead Echo walked towards the door of Hayden's house and was surprised greatly with what happened next.
The wolf sprung upon Echo and knocked him to the ground and bit him in the same arm that had already been bitten. Echo screamed, and then realized the wolf was biting at his face. Dodging every huge jaw blow he looked to his right seeing his sword to far away for him to grab for. He reacted swiftly to the circumstance and wrapped his arms around the wolfs neck and began to strangle the wolf. The wolf was biting and struggling greatly and it was very hard for Echo to hold on with his little energy. But finally the wolf began to slow its movement until it took it's last breath. Dragging the wolf into the house He shut the door and locked it.
He had done it. It was finally finished. He stood in the house for a quick drink of water, but over come with exhaustion Echo passed out. He hit the floor very hard. The impact of Echo hitting the floor had awakened Hayden, but she was still very weak. She crawled to the fallen water canister and drank which revived her and she was over come with energy. She stood up and looked around wondering what was going on then she looked to the door seeing her Echo passed out on the floor.
Echo awoke in a bed next to a fire, very confused with what was going on he looked around and saw Hayden cooking the wolf that he had drug into the home. He looked to his hurt arm and saw that his gashes had been stitched up. He rubbed his eyes and looked at Hayden who was turned away from him not realizing he was awake yet. "Hayden" He whispered to her. She turned around and quickly ran to the bed and hugged him while kissing him countless times. "I love you so much! How did you defeat the wolves, how did you get here?! How did you got the letter!" Hayden spoke with lots of enthusiasm. Echo smiling and kissing her back responded "I will tell you later, but I have a question for you first." Hayden then looked at him and said "Yes? What is it?" Echo looked at her with tears in his eyes and said with such great love and emotion, "Will you spend the rest of your life with me? I love you so much and I would do anything for you." Hayden quickly without any doubt in her mind held up the letter and looked at him, "Yes! I love you!"
Echo and Hayden lived happily ever after!
