Anchored In The Godhead

Imagine this your sailing on a boat in a storm, your heart is beating faster then you have ever felt before, the adrenaline pumping through your kidneys is causing your vision to become very active and make everything move slower. The waves around your ship are crashing over top of your ship like stallions riding over the plains and leaping through the air. With every crash against your ship, you can hear the grunt of the wood, and the bolts grinding against washers and wood. The sound of the rain coming down hard is disorienting you from discerning what is the ocean and what is the rain pounding down on you. Soon you hear something off in the distance, a light comes shining through the clouds and rain, you squint to see but another crash against the boat does it's best to keep you from seeing. You quickly look up after falling on the deck and you stare into it. Time slows dramatically and you hear over the roar of the sea, "Drop your anchor, I am the way, I will set you in one spot and will never leave you, even when  you slumber I am here, when you are unfaithful, I am still faithful! Please drop the anchor, peace is only seconds away.

Puzzled and confused you run to the anchor chain, ready to drop the weight to the bottom of the sea floor. Just as you grap the handle of the drop, a wave flys through the air and nails you to the ground. You are submerged into a wave that seems to never cease, it is almost as if the storm is trying to stop you from dropping the anchor. You force yourself to the anchor and drop it into the sea, instantly as the anchor hits the water the rain stops, and the sea is calm. A voice comes roaring through the air "I am peace, I am love, I am laughter, I am the sea that you have chosen to sail upon. Rest now and dream of the lovely things that are to come." You sit down on the deck and fall into a deep sleep. But while you were sleeping this voice is speaking love and peace over you. You soon awake. The voice speaks again. "I have set you on a current on the sea I have created for you, on this current I will teach you to speak to the storm and calm it, I will rise you up, I will give you rest and peace." When the voice faded a heavy wind blew through the air. You stand up and rise your sail, sailing off into the horizon, you feel as if life as just now begun for you, despite your age. Life begins when you are introduced to Jesus, not when you sail a sea that you have no destination for. Jesus gives us a destination (destiny) and tells you how to get there!
